Dear Parents,

The Durham Recreation Staff is very excited to see your children this summer starting, Monday June 23rd at Allyn Brook Park at 9:00am. We have an experienced staff waiting for some summer fun.

Please make sure your children have eaten breakfast and have put sunscreen on prior to coming to camp.

On hot days we may go into the brook to cool off. Please bring an extra pair of sneakers or water shoes would be helpful.

Please send your child with a snack, at least 2-3 water bottles, and a backpack to carry their belongings.

Please sign your child in at their designated table by grade and then bring them to their assigned counselor.

1. Every child needs to be dressed in athletic wear and sneakers.
2. Towels are encouraged to wipe sweat, or dry off from a splash from the brook, or sit and eat snack.
3. Every child should have their name on their backpack and water, so they don’t get mixed up.
4. Reminder to pack snacks. Please be sure to pack nut free snacks.
5. If someone else will be picking up your child, please leave a note with our camp Director on site.

Snack will take place in the shade or the community center for conversation and cool down.

Pick-up time is 12:45PM. Parents will go to their child’s group to sign out their child.
